You are invited to the Wisconsin Canoe Symposium (WCS)! The symposium is located in Westfield, WI, approximately 60 minutes north of Madison, WI.

It will feature excellent instruction in a quiet water venue for paddlers wishing to improve their skills in paddling and in the precise control of their canoes. And new this year, will also offer a “creeking” FreeStyle course on a section of the Mecan River. In addition to FreeStyle classes, courses will be available for all skill levels in both solo and tandem.

Student/instructor ratio is limited to 5 to 1. All instructors are ACA certified. Bring your own canoe, paddle, and PFD; rentals will be available on a limited, first-come-first-served basis.

This event will be a great way to spend Father’s Day weekend! Arrive as early as Thursday evening and paddle through Sunday. Meals are available throughout the event. Accommodations include hotel style rooms, cabin bunkhouses, and camping (with electric hookup). Pine Lake’s various camp activities such as archery and low ropes will be available to symposium participants and registered family and guests.
